OK, I know its a little early, but this trickle affect is getting old. I am sure there are others that feel the same way. Lets all hope for a big list.

Rumor control........It's been said another revision is coming for the MAY 07 SWE before the next advancement message, just a rumor, thats all.

Hopefully the revised cuts for NOV 07 SWE will be on that same message!

Bit early yes, for the advancement but not for the revision....

I agree... Hopefully there is no revision to the May07 SWE!! A revision at this point equates to a higher probably of carryovers after 01Jan09!

FYI, they no longer do carryovers. This came straight from Master Chief Abernathy's mouth.

Meaning if you are above the cut you are guaranteed to be advanced prior to January 1st, or being above the cut no longer guarantees you advancement and the they start from the new list commencing in Jan?

Meaning if you are above the cut you are guaranteed to be advanced prior to January 1st. They are no longer basing cuts off of say how many retirement letters are in but rather how many retirements are approved. Hope this clears things up

That does not sound right. That just because you are above the cut and not promoted you do not carry over? Then that person has lost an entire year to advancement because they were not sent or requierd to take the last SWE especially the E-7, E-8, E-9. The crystal ball is not always clear due to advance ments and the goal might to eliminate carryovers. But in the end they will happen.

You missed the point. If you are above the cut you are guaranteed an advancement on or before 1DEC. The cut is made aon approved retirements.

If you have an approved retirement and change your mind HQ will tell you "tough enjoy civilian life".

Those days are over.

No longer do carryovers? Better let PSC know! As recently as June they (EPM) posted ALCGENL 086/08 adding carryovers from the May 07 list for both ET1 and YN1.

all i know is i hope they make 25 ET2s. i dont see that happening but it would be nice. i like the others above me have been on there now for about 8 months now and i want to make 2nd finally.
