Try this, it's not pdf but you can use it from home. Once you log in click on "Course Catalog" at the top then view the catalog beside "Enlisted Advancement Requirements". Enjoy.
Boats, thanks for the info, that looks like that's all we get for an electronic EPME study guide for now, its the same program they gave us since we switched to EPME from the MRN, its still tough as ever to navigate and there are no good search options, looks lIke I'll stick to my paper copy for this one
Not trying to down play the importance of the EPME, but there is only 25 EPME questions on the SWE. Make sure you are ready for your 125 rating questions. Good luck everyone.
Local Pattern, I have a pdf E-PME that I assembled myself from all the separate sections on the intranet. It's a huge file, and won't go through the USCG servers, but if you want to contact me at work and give me your home e-mail, I'll send it to you from my home e-mail. Since it's a pdf it has the nice search feature (enter a keyword and every occurance of the word appears on the side of the screen like a table of contents so you don't have to click through the entire book trying to find your reference) and text can be electronically highlighted. I'm in the global, just look up Langlois, I'm the only one in Mobile.
September 26, 2008:
Since I posted this I have received over 100 requests for the E-PME file. I've come to find that the file is too large for any e-mail server and can't be delivered electronically. Sorry! There has been an update anyway, so my file is now out of date.
Resq_mech....out.

There are one or two more than 25 that when you start moving up the totem pole.
FWIW.....I suggest to everyone pay your dues and go thru the whole PME Manual front to back and take notes in bullet format. (You'll have at least 23 pages in size 10 font, single spaced..... ) Do some hard work up front and it will make studying easier down the road. Besides that you'll learn alot doing it that way.
Just a reminder, the EPME manual is suppose to be revised and there will be a multitude of changes to it supposedly in the next few months. It's a spider web to keep updated because if any of the reference manuals is updated, all of a sudden it out of date again.

No worries on any updates. If a bunch of info changes out, start over with a front to back update. It's a lot of reading and typing but well worth the effort invested.
5.C.13.f. (PERSMAN CIM1000.6A) has caused me to sit for this SWE for insurance purposes. E-PME is rather painful these days as is studying the usual gouge. Sure would be great if "they" would revise the May '07 cut again after 01 June.

Those 25 questions could be the difference in a raw score of 80 or 105. (or better) That is huge.
