I just left Active for the Reserves, and am going Merchant Marine. I'm trying to find out the Gross Tonnage of the BUSL as to document my Sea Time for the Regional Exam Center.
NOBODY seems to know where to find this. I'm sure most of you know that Gross Tonnage is not a reference to weight, but I'll point that out just in case!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

35.57 long tons full load
42.92 long tons full load w/ max cargo
30.89 long tons light ship

hope that helps.

Using the simplified formula for gross tonnage that makes it 24.5 gross tons, for licensing.

Full load displacement x .57 , a value used in the Marine safety Manual
