Does anyone know when they start advancing off the May 2009 MKC list? I thought it was after the 2008 list was exhausted but I heard it is January 1, 2010. Also, what if they dont advance everyone on time, do the people from the 2008 list roll over to the 2009? Just curious since they made over 40 in June but 0 in July.

The way I undertand it is that they won't even start until Jan 2010. Unless they authorize early advancement. I am in the same boat! But for MK1...

You got it bud. 2009 MKC SWE exam will start advancing 01 Jan 10. Also, If they do not advance everyone off the 2008 list, they go in front of the 09 list. No worries though, plenty of retirements coming up, and I do not forsee them carrying over any 08 MKC's

Thanks BigDMK and muliefever! Although it is a waiting game full of stress and frustration, atleast we can relax that we will eventually make it.

Will they come out with another revised cut for the NOV 08 MK1 list since there are only 8 left on the revised cut or will they start advancing off the MAY 09 list?

Last year's cuts came out Sept/Oct time frame. But from what I hear the initial cuts will be conservative until they straighten out the ME rate.

There is still more than 8 left for MK1 from the Nov. SWE, the cut stoped at 90. There is still about 35 people left to advance.

take into account that there are people on the NOV. list that MADE it off the MAY 08 list.

I can surely relate to the waiting heartache (i have an ulcer). I'm sitting on 2 lists, Warrant & E8. Hopefully with the new weight standards, retirements, ME rate, and ADM T. Allen looking to grow the CG "REAL BIG" I still have a shot at making it off one of the lits.

Do you really think these new weight standards will have that much effect?

It makes a differance if your the guy under the fat guy whos one above you & he's getting the boot! Then you move up a spot and make it!
