Needed sea-time, 3 land units in a row doesn't really help with that....

Unless they come out with a revised cut before then, I will be taking it. I am currently 21 on May SWE, so fingers are crossed.

Don't study anything you did not get your self it will hurt you in the long run. Also only you will know if it is up to date or not.

It wasn't the most fun swe Ive taken. I was the only one out of the detachment and two cutters to take it.

I just took it, damn hard test. I studied everything I could get my hands on mkshop, MK1 eoc material, NEM, NSTM, EPM-E's, Personnel manual, you name it...it was alot to absorb. Guess I'll find out how I did in a week or so. Oh, 3 other MK2's took it with me. Good luck all..Smile Hind sight 20/20..I don't think I did that well..Frown

Remember, the swe is not supposed to be easy.. Yes, it was hard. I do not think that this swe was has hard as the May 09.. Hopefully I will just make it off the May list!

I agree, this one was easier. I am hoping for the revision to come out with atleast 11 more. I am number 29 on the may list.

That study guide on the MK shop is at least two years old now. Don't expect those same questions to be on any current test. It should only be used to show you HOW to study now. What KIND of questions would be on the SWE. The TYPE of material to study. That is why I hinted that some questions are asked backwards etc. Old question: What color are the sewer lines? New hypothetical question: What color are the bug juice lines? What color is not used to idendtify pipes on a ship. ETC. Learn the type of questions that they will ask, and you have recieved an education. Good luck all with your returns. Smile
