In November when e-resumes were due I submitted 17 billets half and half being first and second class billets. 01 FEB 09 I'm making MK1 should I do a new e-resume?

I think that question should be on the snipe talk discussion, for a detailer.

If you don't have orders in hand for a MK1 billet don't you think the detailer knows to send you to an MK1 billet. Why would he send you to a MK2 billet If you are making MK1. Get another e-resume to them.

BigBirdMK, don't be so confrontational and be a little nicer :-). That question was already answered in the detailer thread, not specifically but one that covered advancements and your e-resume. Check in there and read through. The reason you put down half and half was in case you either got advanced or were above the cut so you are already covered. Did you not know that you were above the cut before now or did they advance past the cut?

If i was being confrontational there would have been some F bombs in there.

At least somebody reads what we say....Just Kidding! Here is the deal! If you are being advanced, we know about it - whether if it is because of the cut, or because the message takes the advancements past the cut. When people are on the bubble and just don't know if they are going to make it, we have them submit a realistic E-Resume listing positions at their current rank, followed by positions at their proposed rank! This is done so that you don't have to submit multiple E-Resumes....Cool - Huh!

If you are unsure as to whether or not we are going to transfer you from your current unit due to your advancement, then you need to contact the detailer through your unit POC, which looking at your profile would indicate it is me.

By the way, I don't necessarily see the string as confrontational but informative. We had already mentioned much of this information in our detailer string. I hope that you don't mind us detailers diving in to this string to answer your question.

Funny you say that Mr. Roberts. I did just that and it didn’t help me any. I was told to submit only in my current paygrade and once the revision came out I had my E-6 orders cancelled. Time passed and I was told where I was going vs. what was available. HMMMMM. Confused

In November when E-resumes were due I was outside of the cut, and I figured I wouldn't advance until after I transferred. I didn't post this question in the snipe talk because they supposedly weren't going to answer specific question's about one person, and I also asked this same to my detailer face to face and got no answer. Ok, just remember that you could lose your priority for a late E-resume. Now i am not sure if that also counts a resubmittion.

I was just joking about BigBird being confrontational, which is why I put the smiley. I guess he didn't check my profile. According to the picture in your profile you have lost a bit of weight, and have a great baby face going. Congratulations.

I think Mr. Roberts answered the question as good as it could have been answered.

As for the OP, since you were outside the cut that is why you put down both MK1 and MK2 billets, you are covered now that you are advancing. If you didn't think ahead and put down MK1 billets then you would be screwed. As it stands now you are good to go.

I know who this is. I know you would understand the F Bombs, after working around me for 2 years.

Honestly I don't know what you are supposed to do. I was above the cut for MK1 and followed the messages and the detailers hot word and put an e-resume in just before the e-resume deadline and without me knowing it I was slated for a unit that I did not want to go to before my e-resume was even submitted.
