has anyone got orders that have been pulled of DA before they recived them?

Has anyone ever taken the NOV SWE and then transferred the same year? (I know there's quite a few more than just me out there.) I'm just curious if anyone has been through this in the past how it worked out. (i.e. sent to a current rank job then short toured once you make rank; given "the list" for the next higher pay grade from the AO; or applied for the next higher pay grade on your e-resume and won a job.) Thanks for any insight and good luck to any shipmates that are currenty in the same position that I am.

I took the November service wide in 05. Transfered summer of 06, to a 3rd class job and been there ever since, this year i am going to take may 09 service wide and transfer summer 09. I hear its different when you make first.

9576754 (that was me) Yes that was actually my #7 pick after reveiwing my sheet (WMSL Crew Bravo) Maybe there is more than one I'm not sure.
