dream sheet season comin up and i noticed the eagle might be comin open for a MK2.. how is it - do they just get underway in the summer for there training ops?

The Eagle gets underway for the summer, usually late April to early September. They also do some short cruises (about 2 weeks) for OCS. They also go through tact which is another couple weeks away. The Eagle usually gets some work done at Curtis Bay every 1.5 to 2years. You will be away from home for more than just the summer. My first year on that ship we spent over 250 days away from homeport. Hope this helps.
