I received an honorable discharge in Jan. with a re-enlistment code re1. I was an AMT then, went into the selres as an MK3. My family and I do not like the civilian life after 10 years of active duty and would like to come back. How hard would it be? Are there any good units open for a MK with a special needs family?

First you need to call up your recruiter and see what he can offer you. It shouldn't be an issue for you to come back in as an MK3, but he will let you know. At the 3rd class level you aren't going to have many "open" billets at units because they will get filled by A-school students and I don't think there is a big shortage. As far as special needs, work life will determine what units are acceptable for your family and the detailer will make the determination of where you will go. Good luck.
