I have already talked to my command about one of them so we will see.

I put in for the MK2 underway billets. Which one are you interested in?

I wanted Sta Burlington. I have a good friend who retired from the guard close to there. However I am pretty sure my command shot down my request. But i guess i will wait and see if orders are sent my way.

I got orders to the polar sea on moday. Pretty excited about it.

congrats. i got nothing so i would assume i am not getting any orders. so i guess i will wait a few months and play the lottery... or just fill out my dream sheet.

Has anyone put in for these new ones? I put in for the Chena today. I hope I get it I was on a rivertender a few years back so I would be able to pick the quals back up pretty quick. Not like I hate my job were I am at now but I am in the "M" world and would like to get back to a boat. Does anyone know anything about the Chena or the area of Hickman KY?

How does the selection for these billets work? The message said that report date would be a factor, but aside from that? I talked to my command about the MK2 cutter positions, but with Pri5 I have a feeling I'm waiting until Sept for the shopping list.

What is meant by "BACKFILL REQUIREMENTS" I am currently the only man in a "one man" shop so command is not inclined to let me apply.

I would love to have taken a job off the first list and there are a few on this list. However according to my command i am to qualified for me to go. I am the only EMT my station has and 1 of 2 qualified OODs below e-6. So once again the saying "the more qualified you are the F@#$ you are" is proving to be true.

Any MK1's putting in for the CGC HARRIET LANE? I put in for it with command approval, just wondering if theres going to be competition for the job.

I put in for that job, but didn't get it. Im already stationed in Charleston too. I also put in for the Forcecom job and that's the one that I got.
