I got to my unit as a mk3, and I made mk2 about a year later. I have been fleeted up into a mk2 position that had just opend. The orders say that rotation date stays the same. On my original orders to this unit, it says that I am here till 01Jul09 but that is when my enlistment ends as well. So if I re-enlist is my rotation date still 01Jul09. If any one has any answers it would be appreciated.

On your orders it will have a position number. Go to people soft as if you are doing an E-Resume and type in your position number. It should come up with your name and rotation date as the detailer sees it.

That is a good response above. Further, when you fleet up your rotation date remains the same of your previous billet. Lets say you had an original 3 year tour, you make 2nd class right at your 2 year mark and you fleet up into the 2nd class position. You still only have a 3 year tour and will remain one more year. The only way you would have to stay longer is if you voluntarily extend or if you had competed for the billet during the transfer season and had been given an entirely new tour. As far as reenlisting, if you do, you will transfer out or extend. Your choice.
