Thought this was interesting. what do you think? decreased fuel consumption and durability look promising...sounds a little heavy (close to 800 lbs where verado's are in the 6's). is this =the first of it's kind
YANMAR had a 45 hp diesel outboard back in the late 1990s. Worked well for our fast rescue craft and other workboats. Especially liked the idea of not hauling a lot of gasoline around. This new o/b looks quite a bit more peppy.
