Calling SWE taking MKs of all pay grades. Post the questions that you can remember off the test. Answers too if you know them. Good luck and good day.

Just a suggestion, but it might be wise to wait atleast a week before you do that. I've seen a few instances where people take their SWE days later than everyone else. I kow I don't want to help fellow MK1's score higher than me. Like I said, just a suggestion.

Wilkes, last year we knew within a couple of weeks.

I would start posting questions now, that way you don't forget them.

I see an MK + EM merger in our near future!!

This one was by far the easiest of the 4 I've taken of the MKC test. Now watch me end up in the bottom 3%. Roll Eyes

My first SWE in the Coast Guard! Based on how I felt about it, I think I'm a good mechanic and Coastie, but I need to work on being an electrician and administrator. Can't wait to see how I did on it.

OK this is my first SWE ever after 7 years in the CG. Holy crap what just happened? I don't know who writes the answers, but to call the choices we get vague would be an understatement. On the mk1 test, there is one question about HAZMAT and all 4 choices make sense. But only 1 is right? I dont understand. I looked the test over and over again and I guess my gut answers are right. Admin and Main Prop were ok, but AUX and Electrical kinda got me. Anyone else feel as confident as me for the MK1 Test?

In any of your studies, did one person on here come across the Novel "Roots"?

Did anyone challenge a question on the MKC exam?

Only reason I knew the answer to that was when I was a kid in the 80's, the "Roots" series was on re-run and my parents made me watch it.
When the CGC Alex Haley was commisioned, the CG made a deal about who Alex Haley was.

I will admit, I didnt study like I had planned. I was in a couple C schools until a week before the SWE and just didnt budget my time when there, or when I got back.
Good luck to everyone else.

Well I didn't study at all Curse

Being in ACET(college); you just have to choose between studying for Calculus and Physics or a SWE. Hopefully I can pick up a commission sometime and it will not matter.
