Trying to gain a little perspective on the list. Coming off a priority 5 as a (soon to be) boot E-7. I'd love to stay in New England afloat, but seeing that as a dismal chance (unless I go on another 270) . What is everyone else looking for?

Well I talked with the detailer and he said by the time he got to the pri 3, that D5 most likely will be closed up by all the 1's and 2's. Not that I wouldnt ask for the positions but made me look else where.

Finally making Chief after all these years. Looking to pick in the Oregon and Washington area (D13). Mainly 87's, 210's, and a vessel called the "BLUEBELL" (Not crossing my fingers though!)

I have (4) tours on Cutters already and have heard that the detailer sometimes makes people with a "little bit" of Sea-time go to land. I hope not.

Freeport is not available and CCTI is not until next year in the spring, sometime around March or April. Seems they only have CCTI twice a year at St. Louis. I was the only one that had interest in it for this Fall but no one else was interested in going through CCTI, so it was canceled till spring. CCTI is optional as to the CPO Acadmey is going to be mandatory from what I have been hearing, it's go or put your letter in.

Take Care and I will let you know when I hear of something.

I put billets all over the place. 87s and 110s all along the east and west coast (no gulf or OUTCONUS). I put land jobs in the same areas as well (50 picks all told). I've got to imagine I can get one of them. Good luck to everyone, it's just about time to settle in and wait...
