Looking for some info from anyone that is on or has been on the caretaker crew for the Polar Star. What is the work day, duty rotation etc. Also do you get sea pay, BAS etc? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

"I heard" (from NESU Seattle persons)that there is a good duty rotation, no sea pay, and not too much work. But, if the CG gets that money, I guess they're going to throw it all into getting the P Star back up and running, and obviously the sea pay would return after that.

Caretakers there DO get sea pay. That came from my CO. He also said that it will not be to long before they get back underway. They get everything a regular crew would get.
