In my humble opinion, the cabins on PRMF, Kauai, is hands down the best military vacation spot. Stayed there with my wife on a romantic weekend getaway, and I can't recommend it highly enough.
Shades of Green on WDW resort is nice if you're traveling with kids. If you're looking for something other than the typical Disney vacation, I'd agree with the cabins on Kauai. Also, for more of a campground experience, try the cabins on the Big Island at Kilauea. The weather was a little cooler, but the area was quiet, and the hikes were amazing.
