has anyone ever stayed at the nantucket temporary housing at siasconset beach, ma.? the coast guard mwr site gives a good decription of it but i would like to hear from anyone who has stayed there. What kind of shape is the housing in?
It is OK, but not even equal to a motel 8. Not sure how many peolple are going, but the Center Street Inn down town Nantucket is owned by a Coast Guard Aux. They give a discount to CG. The Hamblin Cottage is a great place to stay, mention you are in the CG and he may give a discount. I have done for both of the when I was stationed at ACK.
