No, but I was the Company scavenger.
It was before I ever heard the term Spec4 Mafia.

But back in the day there was a group of us that PCSed at the same time to Germany.
Some of us could get parts in our units the others could not and vice versa.
We had a system of swapping to keep tracks from being redlined.

Plus, I had an advantage with about 10-15 guys from my high school class in Germany at the same time.

I got called to the carpet in front of the Full Bird and told it had to stop because it was circumventing the way the Army does things.
He did not appreciate my idea that the way Army did things was messed up.
