I am making myself some notes that I can refer to if needed or pass along to others here once I leave.
When you fill out a 638 you need all the Soldiers Federal awards under Part 1 Soldier Data - #8 (Previous Awards). I have some that I know off the top of my head. Can anyone tell me if there is any more that should be looked for?

MSM
ARCOM

Only decorations are listed (AAM and above)
Most Army forms have a reference at the top on which AR applies to it. For the DA638 it is AR600-8-22. Table 3-2 on page 48 gives step by step instructions on what information is required for each box of the DA638.
