On one of the threads here, there was reference to a company that put together ribbon and medal racks. I won't post the real name, but it rhymes with "eeezeewhackbuilders."

I TRIED to order from this company, stressing that time was of the essence (I had a formal thing to go to, and wanted to wear my Mess Dress Uniform with updated medal rack - figured I'd update the ribbon rack at the same time.)

1. The order form is NOT user friendly. Little accoutrements like OLCs and stars and such need to be toted up and ordered separately.

2. For the medal rack, whether you want regular or anodized, you have to select for EACH MEDAL. Like who in his/her right mind would order a mix?

3. The customer relations/ordering staff will send you an email, and if you don't drop everything and answer IMMEDIATELY, then a delay is YOUR fault, dude. If you're OCONUS with an international phone number, the order form will not accept it. Good luck on that one.

After much back and forth, with me getting more and more agitated because I did not have the freakin' medals, I got "fired" as a customer because of my horribly rude attitude. (Oh, I also let it be known that I don't like being addressed by my first name by strangers - unlike "Dave" Petraeus, apparently one of their buddies according to the CEO. As if.)

Well, that was the best thing that could have happened. My money was refunded, and I promptly went to "harlowwhyte" - where the order forms are incredibly easy to use and the customer service is splendid.

FWIW, the unit citation row was incorrect (THEIR mistake, not mine - I kept a copy of my original order form this time, something I strongly suggest you do if you deal with The Other Company; any mistake will be laid at YOUR doorstep) - within two days, a correct one was mailed out, Express Mail, at no cost to me.

Just thought I'd post this as a heads-up for you. I'm pretty sure it's not in violation of the TOU. Wink

Try Medals of America, i've never had a problem with them on product or service. They can be pricey though. Had my full size medals and Mini's done through them.

I use MoA as well- it can cost, but they have everything and put it together nicely. Had a pin come off one of my racks, sent it back & they fixed it gratis! Good Folks! Beer
