just met this guy who says he was a ranger but something doesnt seem right. if he graduated in the beginning of 87 what would his class number might be also how many phases are there 3 ? if so was there ever a 4 th phase.

For a couple of vears in the 80's there was a 4th phase (Desert) which took place at Dugway Proving Ground in Utah. The other phases were Ft. Benning, Dahlonega Ga.(Mt.) and Egland AFB, FLA (Jungle).

The desert phase was first at Ft Bliss then moved to DPG, Utah. The phase was eliminated in 1995

I wonder why? we are spending a lot of time in deserts and not much in jungles these days.
