Someplace-- I forget which base it happened on,
but some store 'out in town' had a big drawing.

They were giving away hundreds of prizes, and the grand prize was a new Corvette.

As you might expect:
A Air Winger won the Corvette.

And, typically-- a Grunt he knew won prize #597.
It was a new toilet brush.


They collected thier prizes, and went their merry way..

A few weeks later, they ran into each other.
The Grunt asked, "Well,,,,, how do ya like your new 'Vette"?

"Fine", said the Winger, and he asked, "How do you like your,,, ahhh,,, 'prize' shall we say"?

The Grunt got this pained expression on his face and replied,
"Well, I like new stuff and all, but that toilet brush is about to kill me.
I think I'm just going to have to switch back to toilet paper".

lol oh yeah he's a grunt all right! i saw some grunts at new river pushing a frog across the flight line......i later found out the crew was having them "help" by jump starting it! they'd hit the apu n you'd hear it start to spool up then kill it again! lol pretty funny!
