Hello All,
I'm looking to transition from ten years plus of civilian heavy commercial to USMC rotary or fixed wing, Pendleton or Miramar.
Have PKL SDiego for Pendleton, looking for fixed wing 130 contractors and others. Probability of deploying with a sqd/wing a plus.

Boeing and Raytheon are big and obvious. It's the smaller contractors like PKL I'm trying to uncover. Wouldn't know PKL if my son wasn't attached to MCAS Pendleton. There's gotta be a board or link somewhere I'm just not seeing that'll show who the little guys are?
Thanks

Pendleton, Miramar, 32nd street, all these bases hold regular career fairs. Some are hosted by the base/TAP managers and others are public.
Military Stars, civilianjobs, recruitmilitary, hiremilitary these are just a few. They are usually well attended and free to you as an attendee. I know because I was one of those guy looking for talent there.
These may be a good way or you to get intel or find what you are looking for.

Theyhave the same events in the Seattle area if you are interested due to the proximity to the Army post and Navy bases.

32nd St. is the big Navy base in SD.
TAP mamager is the person(s) in charge of getting Marines leaving the service training to help them find jobs, do interviews correctly, etc. Ask your son to head over to the TAP office during the day and get some info for you. I've met all the folks at the Miramar TAP and they're helpfull

I know there is a contractor (I don't remember the name) that operates out of Meridian MS that works on BE20's that is looking for A&P's to go overseas.

thanks there too Ninja.
The local Vet community has infrequent job fairs due to McChord AFB, FT Lewis, Bremerton, NAS Whidbey.

All very good info. Thanks Gents
