hey im pfc cleary at nas pensacola and my mos is an airframe mechanic. i dont know what i want to work on yet and in 2 weeks we get to choose our orders sort of. top student gets 1st choice of availabe aircraft then 2nd and so on. ill definately be in the top 3 so i wanted some input from the wingers out in the fleet. i hear rotary wing gets annoying from getting really oily and dirty and that they have to put in more hours. im looking more at fixed wing and wanted to know if any f18 mechanics out there could help me out a little. thanks!

What about Harrier's, or C-130's, or EA6B's? It's all about the same just the air frames are different. If I had to do it again it would be C-130's....

You could have been a hole digger and dodging IED/VIED's.

why would you choose c130's??
