There are some changes since the FY09 plan came out.
Fixed-wing
3 F-35B FRS sqns are set to activate, VMFAT-501 (FY 10), VMFAT-502 (FY14), and VMFAT-503 (FY17). They will be assigned to MAG-31.

VMFAT-332 reactivates FY11 as first Fleet F-35B sqn. VMFAT-212 reactivates FY12.Both assigned to MAG-31. The goal is to have 21 Active squadrons, 4 Reserve sqns, and 3 FRS squadrons.

Rotary-wing
HMH-463 cadres FY11. Returns FY14 as VMM.

West Coast HMMs begin transition to VMM starting with VMM-161 (Oct 09), followed by VMM-166 (3d Qtr FY10), VMM-561 (1st Qtr FY11), VMM-165 (3d Qtr FY11), VMM-562 (1st Qtr FY12), VMM-163 (3d Qtr FY12), VMM-164 (3d Qtr FY14).

1st MAW sqns (HMM-262 and 265) transition FY13.

4 Reserve VMMs form starting with VMM-774 (FY14), followed by VMM-764 (FY16). 2 new sqns will form FY17.

1 VMM will move to Guam no earlier than FY14, subject to Agreed Implementation Plan and environmental review.

HMLA-567 will activate at Cherry Point FY11 and move to New River FY13.

HMH-362 and 363 will increase to 16 CH-53Ds in FY11. Both will relocate to Cherry Point during FY18 for transition to CH-53K. They will be replaced at MAG-24 by a single East Coast 53E sqn.

MAG-49 HQ, HMH-772(-), HMLA-773 Det B, and MWSS-472(-) will relocate to McGuire AFB, NJ, during FY11. HMLA-773(-) moves from NAS Atlanta to Warner-Robbins AFB.
