I'm currently a senior in high school working on a project for one of my classes, in which I had to research and present aspects of a career. I decided to research the career I want to do myself, fly for the USMC, so I'm wondering if any pilots wouldn't mind taking some time to fill me in on what your daily life is like while you're on active duty. It'd be much appreciated! Thanks!
Marine Pilots are amoung the best in the world, they are asked to fly in some tight areas that could indanger themselfs. Most look at it aas a ego thing...
Tom Carter can you e-mail this young man, let him know hat being a Marine Pilot is all about. thanks
Tom Hansen, yeah, I read up on all the branches of aviation and picked Marines since they were the best! Although I've got a cocky ego. When I say I want to fly for the Marines, I want to be considered the greatest ace there ever was and eventually lead the Blue Angels for a year. But first I've gotta pass highschool so I can go to college. So I've gotta get this project done so I can pass... ha ha.
Tom Carter, if you want my personal e-mail address, I'll message it to you, if for whatever reason you'd rather e-mail it than post it publically. I'm not sure why, but Tom Hansen suggested you e-mail me, so if you'd rather do that, let me know.
Or any other pilots wiling to share their day to day routines, please feel free to drop a post!
