Separated from active in jun07. joined Guard, not able to find a good job.
Fell behind on mortgage payments...Home is currently Rented (in NE) to folks who would like to buy, but i am afraid we migh be too close to foreclosure. Just checked the banks site and they denied our petition to hold on the payments for a few months. We were not able to gather all the required info on time (Pay stubs and Rental Agreement)-Me in TX, Wife in NY, Hous e in NE.
Got something from VA on the mail, when i called they said I did not qualify because I had to be actually be living in the home.
Is there any help out there.

Thanks

Sell the house. The bank will work with you if you have a contract to sell it. If the renters want to buy it then have them contact a mortgage company and get a pre-approval.
