Hey....

My fiance(he is in the army) and I are moving to Belgium in about 2 weeks...Its supposed to be Chievres Belgium and Im getting pretty nervous about it!!!
I graduated from high school in the states in 2006 (12grade) and after that I also graduated from a German High School(13th grade).
I speak German, Turkish and I always worked part time while i was going to school. A good point for me going back to school in Germany was that colleges in Germany are pretty much for free all u need to have is a good GPA but now we are moving to Belgium and I sure dont speak any french at all... (which is prolly going to change soon) Big Grin
I cant imagine to move to Belgium and not being able to work like i do right now or not to go to college anymore. Frown

My fiance says that I will have the opportunity to go to college in Belgium after we got married ...but what is if not?
My english is not even close to be perfect yet, I still learn new things every day and forget words or spell them way wrong ....lol
I really want to support him in any way I cant just sit at home all day long and make him work and pay the bills...I also want to keep my goals up strong and faithfully cause thats important for me and our relationship... a happy partner is a better partner and I aspect him to work for his goals just as much as I would work for mine...and of course I want him to be proud of me.

Do u know if there opportunities to go to school and having a good job in the same time ...???any experience of living in Belgium???Please help!!!

thank you!!

Hi, by now I'm sure you are already in Belgium. I just read your post and wasn't sure if you would get this message but wanted to offer a possible solution.
My wife and I were looking for a solution to have her be able to stay home with our daughter, and we found something that worked for us. Send me a message if you want to talk about it. Have you found a solution yet?

Hi,

If you get this message, you can always contact me. I moved 4 years ago in the USA, I am from Belgium and going to the meps soon to take the physical exam to join the army.
If you have any question, I ll be happy to help you out.
I can tell you already that you may find a job on the east side of Belgium because most of the people speak german there. And Dusseldorf or even Aachen is really close from where you will be. Good luck
