Well that was fun. All that ice we got Thursday night caused tree limbs all over the state to fall.

We lost power around 2230 Thursday and it finally came back on tonight (Sat) around 1900.

Caught up on some reading when the sun was out but unfortunately it was pretty much set by 1630.

Don about 4 yrs ago here in florida we got hit with 4 hurricanes..I lost power 4 days on one of them and 3 days on another one of them.

The difference is hurricanes happen in the summer..so you lose power..you break out the blankets..or maybe throw a log on the fire.

Here we lost power..we sweat it out in swimsuits.

life is being confortable Coolsc

Yep...I was in Clearwater when those storms hit so I hear ya. Honestly, given the choice, I'll take loss of power in the cold instead of the heat and humidity.

I have plenty of quilts. Big Grin

Day 4....we are lucky that our power came back Saturday night. Others aren't so lucky as there's still many without power in NH, MA, ME and VT.

All the schools in my area are closed to the delight of my 14 yr old son. Big Grin
