I am going to start posting these discussions by storms. If I left it one one thread, things are going to become to confusing here in the next few weeks as to which storm were talking about. A quick glance at the Sat's over Africa show a system that has left the Coast with well defined circulation, and another system in the middle of Africa which also shows circulation already. The models line up one storm after another. Until the next one, heres Hanna.
Hanna already shows she wants to be a pain in the @ss with forecasting. That crap you see on the model runs indicates a stall, and she appears hell bent on one, becoming a major Hurricane, and two damaging something in the US. One model run yesterday had Hanna approaching Miami, moving though the straight, and pile driving New Orleans. T |

My parents live in Eastern NC. They said they can use the rain. Hopefully it won't get too strong.

I live in Eastern NC. Not much to it. We have had worse nor'easters that don't get this much coverage. News crews are driving around looking for downed trees to broadcast by. What a croc.

Hannah came through here lat evening south of Boston and we did not see too much of a storm. it was mostly heavy bands of rain throughout the early evening and late afternoon, No loss of power and the winds really never got above 30 knots. I hope anyone who was effected in the Carolinas the best of luck in getting repaired and pumped out.
