Thank you for checking this out. So my son has decided that he wants to join the military and one of the jobs he is looking into is a infantry officer. He also would like to be a aircraft piolet. If anyone could please do a interview with that would help us so much!! His name is Andrew and we can be emailed at jane_bond2001@yahoo.com Thanks!
college... send him to college... have him start up with ROTC.
i would be remiss if i did not ask for him to do all the legwork, while you do the research. if he is to lead men, he needs to follow first. good luck
oh.. and do not be surprised if that Email addy gets deleted. posting it is agaimst TOS, since it is personal information, so go ahead and frequent the site for updates
Just as a matter of interest Elesso, what is the procedure for potential officers (POs) in the USA? I know they tend to train while at university rather than on a commissioning course but what about the actual selection process? We have to go through a fairly long winded procedure that includes interviews with career advisers and regimental Colonels and familiarisation visits to regiments or corps one is thinking of joining - all of this in addition to the actual Commissions Boards. I was wondering whether the US system is as long winded.
