I am looking at the application instructions for OCS, and it states that restricted designations have age limits...pilot etc..
But then I look at others that say unrestricted and they don't list an age cut off.
If there is, what is it? For say, ADO?
If it's 35, I wonder, is there something that an active duty Navy guy of 16 years can do in the Army? I have a strong maintenance background as an AD and now as an AWS.
Thanks for any good info and let me know if you need to know more to help me out with this. Sorry if this is rambling.

Have you talked with an Officer Recruiter yet?

If you're 35, I think you're above the mins. I think many of communities have waivers for active duty time, but you'd have to check, and I think you'd be too old even with the waiver. But the first step is to speak with an OR.

You should talk to your CCC before talking to the Officer rectuiter, as the application must go through your command. OPNAV 1420.1A Is where you need to start.

Have you thought about LDO or warrant at all as well?
