For those in the know, I want to explain my situation because my command does not seem very familiar. This might be a long post, just a warning.
I came in the Navy on December of 1999. Finished my enlistment with an honorable discharge and got out. This was December of 2004. Long story short, I rejoined in April of 2006. Being an HM, it is difficult to advance. These past two cycles I have scored in the 60's. Maxed out on points, the only problem being a student eval I got at the FRS when I came back in. It was a Promotable. This causes a problem because that eval will stay on my profile sheet until next April, when I hit HYT. MILPERSMAN states that E4 time is 8 years, strictly Navy time. I told my command about this, not as an attempt to get out, but that it is there. They(admin) does not seem to fully grasp what I am talking about. We contacted the HYT board and are waiting on a final calculation. Does anyone have any experience with HYT? This message has been edited. Last edited by: Sardoc32, |
