Don't know about the reserve list, but we found out last night that they're not coming out with an active duty list on NPC. Only ESOs can access the full list, and individual members can access the info through NKO or the the advancement center. It's dumb. If we hand't looked ourselves never would have learned that was the only way to get it.

Just looked, the reserves is the same as above.http://www.npc.navy.mil/Boards/ReserveEnlisted/CPOSelectionBoards.htm

Here's a good word of advice...if you have stuff to submit to the board, feel free to submit it even if you haven't heard because there can be a short lead time between the time that the results come out and when it has to be to the board. If you make board, you're ahead of the game and already have your stuff in. If you don't, they'll toss it for you.

They stopped doing that a few years back. If you're interested in who made the cut (other than yourself), you can always look it up in Navy Times. They're usually a week or two behind, but at least you can see the entire list.

That is unless, of course, the Navy Times stopped doing it as well.

No...the worst part is making board, then having to wait...and wait...and wait...and wait...and wait...and wait...and wait...and wait...and wait...and wait...and wait...and wait...and wait...and wait...and wait...and wait...and wait...

(Are we getting the point here? Big Grin)

and then not make it.....

twleve times.

At least those that just take a test know the minute the results are out.

probably better in some ways if adam DOESN'T make it this year. He made board....but if he made chief, I think he would be leaning towards a DOR for STA-21 and stayinng enlisted.

Not that I blame him, or that it would be entirely bad...

Why? Just to stay subs?

Depending on how close he is, finishing the degree as an enlisted scum shouldn't be hard at all...after all, I did it, and we all know I lived under the bottom of the barrel... Big Grin

A major part of it, yes.

also doesn't, in general, like the attitudes of the flight guys he's met thus far (except my enlisted AME bro-in-law) and has no desire to work arond said attitudes.

hate's being on "the same level" as guys with zero time in the Navy, too.

Good luck, Adam. I think you'd make a good driver.... and if you need a semi competent MLPO, give me a call.

Never had that problem. MM3 at end of boot camp, MM2 on STAR, MM1 was pass and advance (I did have to know how to fill my name out, I think, but that was about it)...

E-1 through E-6 in 5 years .....then E-6 forever.

I learned to hate the CPO selection board process with a passion.

Not much different on the civie side, we start preparing our evaluations for folks around april and have to be submitted by june to the main office. Then everyone waits till october to find out if your raise went through and how much your gonna get...So I say the wait is worst!
