I am in the process of re-enlisting after being out for 14 years, I am 34 years old, is there any possiblility of becoming an Officer or maybe Warrant on down the road? I don't have a degree.

without a 4 year degree you will not be an Officer. Going Warrant..maybe. depends on the qualifications . right now a degree is not required. It may change.

then you have the age issue to worry about..you would be too old for many communities.

Don't be discouraged, There is no age limit in the manuals for LDO/CWO. I was appointed ensign at age 53 in 1986. I had only college courses and no degree. However, I had civilian experience in telecommunications.

I went in in 1950 prior to Korea, discharged in 1953 and reenlisted in 1976. I retired when I was a few months over 60. I was on ACDUT at age 58 during desert Storm. I retired in 1993.

My CO and others said I was too old. I read the book and applied. Most said I was wasting my time, on the second try I was selected.
