Hey!! Any recruiters out there who can help answer my questions? I am currently a reservist who is trying to go active duty. I have four years active duty, plus a year and a half active due to an IA. I've tried putting in a packet for FTS. The first time, it was turned down due to high year tenure. Then, I made second. The second time was turned down due to the fact that it was not offered for the YN rate. I am currently an OS, which FTS is not open to. So, I would have to cross rate. Now, I just want to go active. I am 35 yrs. old, married, with two kids. How big of a problem is this going to be for me?

z,

If you have not heard from anyone, call the active duty recruiter in your area. At a minimum, you will need a current physical, last 3 (I think) evaluations, and your DD214's. From what I've heard, you could be bumped down a paygrade.

Good luck!
