I was just thinking about doing our taxes now with our stored information on turbo tax and the December LES.. I don't see why I couldn't do that, but I guess I sort of feel like I am cheating since the W2's have not actually posted yet.. What do you think? Is there any reason NOT to do them now?

You can do them, but you cannot file them without the W-2's. Just to be certain, you should wait.

lol...Jackie, I've started my filing---filling in certain information, but Vet's right: best to wait so that everything matches up correctly.
Ours is about 3/4 of the way done, just waiting on some W2's now.

I have run the number to see if I have paid enough taxes. I do not have any of the forums I need, but wanted to see what my bill would be like.

I share the others view wait until all the forms are in to file.

I have already done my taxes on Turbo Tax and I filed them on Monday of this week. I had everything except a 1099 for interest. I had called and received the amount from the bank.

I already have my MO refund in my checking account, with in 4 days.

Since I am retired, there is no chance any any last minute additions to my retired pay. And since I did it on line with Efile, I did not have to send my 1099-R in, I did have it.
