Hi, I guess I'm a little confused about the whole moving/what form to use/w-2 issue. We did a partial dity move in July and received reimbursement for it. I assume we should receive a separate W-2 for this? We haven't gotten it yet, and can't get anyone at finance-the voicemail box is always full. I just want to make sure that we do have to wait for this W-2 to file. Thanks for the help.

You will not get a separate W-2. An explanation of how the information is reported to you, on the W-2, may be found here.

Sorry, this dude is dead wrong. Anytime you do a DITY yu will receive a W-2, even for partial. I haven't received mine this year but they assure me it was sent in the mail.

Done many partial Ditys and full Ditys; always received a W-2. The only way I could imagine one not getting a W-2 if your documneted exspenses exceeded the payment for your Dity. Typically, W2 for Dity moves (for me any way) always shows up after the W2 for base pay.
