Me and my fiancee' are filing separately of course. I am doing our taxes in turbotax, can only one of us take the EIC? Does it matter who?

I am the HOH but if only one of us can take the EIC I'd rather just see who it benefits more and file that way.

Any other suggestions for unmarried parents?

Run each scenario thru TurboTax then go with the one with the best numbers. Just be sure to save each scenario to a different file name.
