With all the research I have been doing lately into A schools, I have seen the phrase "bring a full seabag" several times. I also, along with all of you, got the news that we now have to buy the parka (with the allowance in our checks) and that the parka was going to be a seabag item. My question is this:

What exactly constitutes a full seabag? Is there a checklist online somewhere so that you know exactly what to pack? This may seem like a dumb question, but I am just entering the CGR and hadn't yet had cause to deal with this. Should I have every single item issued to me in basic, or is there a pared down item list?

Hmm, they should invent some type of MANUAL that contained information pertaining to UNIFORMs. They could possibly call it the...

Clothes Manual?

OK, if underwear is a required uniform item(s), how come it's not listed as required seabag items?

...because the seabag list has required specific uniform items. Go back a few years when they did list the undies and they were very specific on what type. Now they just list it as you must wear but they don't tell you what kind...boxers, briefs, thongs...oooops did I say that Angel/Devil

So, if white v-neck t-shirts are required to be worn, why aren't they a required seabag item? That's pretty damn specific methinks...

Still looking for that Seabag manual....

Wasn't there something in "that manual" about different color requirements for the ratings?
