Does anyone know if the cold weather cap is no longer authorized for enlisted? The UDC tells you for e-6 and below the small medalion is worn on it, e-7 through e-9 wear the small appropriate anchor device, and officers wear their appropriate device. The uniform manual however, no longer mentions its wearing for enlisted personell. Is the watch cap authorized for commuting? My head gets cold in the winter and ball caps just aren't warm.

I thought the cold weather cap would look better for commuting purposes instead of the watch cap.

Thanks anyone who knows.

See the chart in Chapter 3.C.1. of the Uniform Manual. It will answer all your questions. I'll even give a link to the manual: CG UNIFORM REGS

Thanks Tip-Dog, but the whole 3.C Section is no longer in our wonderful manual. It is still in the table of contents however.

I skimmed down the manual numerous times and from 3.B.14 Pg 3-16 to 3.D is missing.

Maybe its my computer. 3-52 and 3-53 are missing. Manual goes from 3-51, ball caps and combo covers to 3-54, aviation badges. I will try again at work in case its my adobe version causing the problem.

Thanks

W~

I called the UDC, just for everyones info, some of the Uniform Regs are missing because it is in process of being rewritten. The cold weather cap is authorized for wear by enlisted in trops and in the ODU. The watchcap is only authorized for wear in the ODU.

I was looking at page 3-17, in the link I posted above. Must be operator error!? Wink It might also be the version of Adobe Acrobat you're using - the manual is in *.pdf format.
