So we have had the new uniforms for a cppl of years now. I am wondering if anyone has mastered the art of the sleeve roll. Any tips or secrets out there?

I can do mine with the shirt on...no mirror either. Pull cuff to armpit, fold whats left up halfway then pull cuff down over the folded up part...seal with a button.

Lay the uniform face down on a table or something, grab it by the bottom and fold it up over itself so the name tapes are showing. Then pull the cuff on the sleeve up to the armpit. Fold twice and pull the cuff down over the roll, put your thumbs inside the roll and pull to tighten it up. A marine taught me this for my DCU's, then I made a little adaptation for the ODU's.

Been doing it since I was in BDU's. I used to be able to do it with my shirt on, but with the onset of old age Wink I do it with my shirt off.

It definitely rolls easier when the sleeves are ironed. I couldn't even think about doing it with the shirt on, that takes some skill right there. BOSOX's advice is exactly how I do it and it works great.
