A buddy of mine said that when he ordered his untucked ODU uniform and followed the measurement guidelines, it did not fit well at all. He returned them and used the measurements off his old ODU's and they now fit much better. The UDC site specifically states that you should not use the old uniform size, so I'm just curious if anyone else has had any fitment issues.
Thanks

I had the same issue, although I had members at my unit that followed the UDC fitting chart and they fit fine. It depends on the person I believe.

I ordered my old size from the start, and they fit perfect.

Another ODU question, this concerning the old version vs new version trousers.

Did the old version trousers have pleats on the front side, or, is that a feature of the new version ???

This may seem like an obvious question, but why would they put pleats on the trousers when no one can see them since the blouse is untucked? Confused

A fashion statement ????

or maybe, question Smile

On another site, the E-7s ~ E-9s were crucifying and nitpicking to death one CPO over the the appearance of a crewmember, downtown, in some sort of work type clothing. Really cannot tell if it is civilian or uniform gear, but the uniform nazis' were on it like stink on shlitz.

Have been collecting, from the CGHQ website, photos of the exalted ones with uniforms in different conditions. Apparently their ability to walk on water isn't guaranteed. May post them some day. Big Grin

You noticed that I didn't stay around too long after my comments Dana! It was a useless discussion.

Can anyone access that site to view the discussion, or is it CPO only?

Has the placement of the VADM collar insignia been changed on the untucked ODU ?? Recent photos show a change in orientation. The 4 stars are readilly apparent why the orientation is changed, but prior 3 stars went by the manual.

I believe it is for comfort and mobility. I hate the look but they are covered. I repaired tons of butts on the old odu's and that is the only answer that I can come up with. They are to be looser.
