Hey, I had a few more questions.
Thanks for the help earlier also when I asked about the PT part. I was wondering what comes after the online app is filled out. I am almost done, and I was wondering what else is there. I know I have to do an interview, pt test, 4 letters of recommendation, and transcripts.

Also, does anyone know of any good websites besides the Navy ROTC page that goes really in depth into the application process?

Thanks for the help. I am getting help from a recruiter at the same time, but I keep finding myself wondering about more questions.

Looks like you pretty much understand the application process. Just get it done as early as possible!

For other websites explore some schools' NROTC webpages. There are links on the main NROTC website. They'll give you a good picture on how the program works on a day to day basis. Also, check out airwarriors.com. A lot of Navy/Marine guys on there who have done NROTC.

5208056 are u saying that in order to go into the program, you have to be interviewed and 4 recomendation are required? i dont think so. i went to an interview, but they said all i need to do is the SAT or ACT, and apply to the program. By the way does anyone know were to get the application to get into the rotc program, and if it make a difference the marine option?

you do need the recommendations. they are part of the application process. in general, they happen AFTER you submit your application but before the recruiter sends the application to the selection board.

Have you filled out the online application yet? There is a section for recommendations. You definitely need them.

And yes, it makes a difference whether you apply for Navy or Marine options. Separate boards select the applicants, and you can only apply to one.
