I want to take about 3 CLEP tests, does the military ID card you get from DEERS as a cadet let you in for free testing? Or do I have to pay $65 for each one. I know active and reserve can take as many as they want for free. Just wondering if Cadets can? It's the same military card so they wouldn't know the difference? Yes or no?

Really? Are they issuing CACs to cadets?
- the rank on the card may ne a clue that you aren't AD. What rank is on your ID? |

USMA cadets are active duty Regular Army; however, ROTC cadets are considered Army Reserve. I see no reason as long as you are contracted and have an ID why you wouldn't be able to take them. |

I would assume so. CLEP Tests are free to active, guard, and reserve members, and ROTC cadets are considered Army Reserve.

Do CLEP hours count towards your credit hours for the semester for ROTC? I know some schools will take a CLEP taken and count it towards the total amount of hours for a semester, but I don't know how this works for Full Time status with ROTC...
