I am a Junior at a University with a major in Economics, I just joined AFROTC and although I am now viewed as a sophomore (AS200), meaning I will be a POC after this upcoming summer after FT. According to my teachers/recruiters I will have an extra year of ROTC after I graduate with my BA., so I just decided to get a masters since I have to stick around. But I was wondering
1. If its true that I cannot be commisioned after only 2 years of ROTC and also,
2. I was told that I can only use a scholarship toward one degree or the other(undergrad or grad.)but not both is this true too? Thanks

Re #1 I think you need 2 years in POC after Field Training.

#2 sounds correct.

you can use your scholarship toward your masters if it ont require you to stay any longer then you would have, and you get approval from HQ through your cadre. When I graduated last May AFROTC was actually pushing sophomores and juniors to try and up their loads if they had a good GPA to try and get their masters before they graduated. Of course it was a lot easier for the 5 year cadets to fit in the extra classes.
