I just heard one of the craziest swimmer stories I ever heard, about a buddy of mine in Astoria, going to get a man off a sail boat, the man jumped on him, the boat rolled over, they got caught in rigging...swimmer cuts himself loose...under the water and boat for more than a minute...and the survivor tragicly did not make it...

why was a message not sent...seems like some lessons could be learned?
