Was wondering what average heights and limits are to both free falls and direct deployments.

...usually another 5 to 10 feet plus or minus that number depending on the pilot, if memory serves me well today... |

and that's in both directions! There is a certain LT. out there whom pilots 60's. Whom almost dipped my fins in the water, while still sitting in the door. But I thought I might want to alert the FM when he dipped the tail wheel in the water. Then he deployed me from like 30 feet on the next one. Sometimes you have to know when to hold them, and sometimes to know when to fold em'. |
