Ok, i'm trying to get my self settled. Currently, i'm awaiting MEPS to let me know when i can ship out to boot. so here are the questions:

1) how can i "guarantee" Airman/AST when i sign my contract w/ the recruiter.

2) i already HAVE a secret level clearance, issued thru DSS. how easy is it to get the CG to take ownership of the clearance?

3) when in Bootcamp, can i select the airman program or do i get my assignment and THEN try and get into the Airman program?

4) how big of an issue will my being 6'6 be goin thru bootcamp (standing out, etc)

This is no factor, one way or the other. You will be required to file a new SF-86. What I mean is this wont speed you up or slow you down.

Get a unit, THEN do what needs to be done to get on an A-School list.

Your clothes will take longer to iron. That's all I can think of.
