Is it possible to become an AST if someone has heart problems?
Now i understand that there are a lot different cases and no definite answer can be given until checked by a military doctor. Is the problem fixed? Yes since 1 Years old. All checkups are fantastic and stress tests are off the charts. I also exercise extensively and am very active in swimming, running and overall nutrition and health. I am a junior in highschool. If an experienced member could lend a hand, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again. |

If you HAD a heart problem and dont anymore - maybe.
If you HAVE a heart problem - unlikely you could pass a flight physical. No one will be able to give you a better answer than that. The ONLY way to pass a flight physical is to GET a flight physical. There is no special AST physical. |
